Visiting Heronswood Garden
Welcome to Heronswood! Our garden is open throughout the year, though hours vary from season to season. You can buy tickets at our convenient ticket office by the parking lot, where we also have our adorable gift shop filled with local and PNW goods as well as rare plants available to buy in our plant sale area. Guided and private tours from our knowledgeable staff are available by appointment. Leashed dogs are always welcome in the garden. Our interactive garden map will tell you more about Heronswood’s six component gardens.
2026 GARDEN HOURS
The garden is open Wednesday to Sunday, 9am - 3pm (last entry 2:30pm) until October 11th, 2026, when we return to winter hours, Saturday and Sunday, 9am - 3pm (last entry at 2:30pm). We close for the holidays and post those closure dates here on our website.

The Point Casino & Hotel Shuttle
Planning a visit from Edmonds? Take advantage of The Point Casino & Hotel's complimentary shuttle service! The shuttle route runs from the Kingston ferry terminal to The Point Casino & Hotel, then to Heronswood Garden, before returning to the ferry.
Make a day of it by stopping at the casino to enjoy one of their great dining venues, then take a relaxing stroll through the beauty of Heronswood Garden.
