How You Can Help Heronswood
Heronswood celebrates the many links between people and plants, and we couldn’t do what we do without your help. Heronswood’s membership scheme gives you free access to the garden when open, and numerous member’s benefits. We welcome donations to the garden, allowing us to expand and develop our plants collections and landscapes. If you would prefer to donate your time, then we have an active volunteer program with varying work suited to all abilities.
Membership
Support the garden by becoming a member and get free garden entry during public hours (year-round) and to seasonal public plant sales, class and event discounts, e-Newsletter, email announcements, and more.
Heronswood members tour the garden during a workshop with special guest Fergus Garrett, Director
of England’s Great Dixter Garden.
Donate
Your tax-deductible contribution helps to support innovative horticultural displays, new frontiers in plant conservation and preservation, and community outreach and education.
Our new “weeping wall” amphitheater was made possible by the donations of generous Heronswood supporters.
Volunteer
Heronswood has many opportunities for volunteers to help, from greeting garden visitors and helping with special events to working with other volunteers in a day of gardening work capped with a presentation.
Weed, Walk & Talk volunteers help prepare the area that was transformed into the Traveler’s Garden in 2020.
