Private Tours & Scheduled Public Tours at Heronswood

Private Tours

Private guided tours are available year-round and last approximately two hours. They are led by senior garden staff and cost $300 minimum, covering up to 10 people, then $30 per additional person (e.g., 15 people=$450). Tours are scheduled first come, first served, generally on Wednesdays and Fridays, and payment is required in advance.

Tour start times are usually either 10:00am or 1:00pm. To inquire and schedule, please email:  [email protected]  or call the Port Gamble S’Klallam Foundation office at (360) 297-9621. For larger groups (>20), during windy conditions, or for the hearing impaired, we have audio tour systems for clearer broadcast. A picnic area is provided for visitors to enjoy their lunches or snacks. We can also provide you with details for ordering boxed lunches from the nearby tribally owned Point Julia Cafe.
