The Winter Garden, with Ray Larson
A Zoom Webinar
Winter Wonderland
Join Ray Larson, Curator of Living Collections and Associate Director at the University of Washington Botanic Gardens, for a presentation on outstanding plants for the winter garden. Ray’s talk will focus on the Washington Park Arboretum’s Joseph Witt Winter Garden along with other winter-interest plants throughout the collections that are at their best in our colder months.
The Witt Winter Garden dates back to 1949 and over the decades has developed into one of the finest displays of temperate winter-interest plants in North America. Ray will talk about some of his favorites species and how to care for them in the home garden.
This class will be held via Zoom. Ticket holders can join the webinar live, with a 1-hour lecture plus Q&A afterwards, and/or watch the recording, which will be made available to all.
