It may seem odd to teach a class on spring bulbs in September, but now is the time to order bulbs from catalogs and to start planting. Heronswood Director Dr. Patrick McMillan will guide you through the process of choosing good, healthy bulbs and show you how to plant them. He'll demonstrate bulb 'lasagna' planting of containers and reveal his favorite spring-flowering bulbs.

All in-person classes are limited to 15 attendees in order to facilitate social distancing. Masks must be worn. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Class may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
