Fab Fun for Kids
For centuries, the S'Klallam people have utilized camas bulbs as an essential food, a symbiotic relationship that protected rare prairie plants. The Camas Club is a new endeavor at Heronswood providing fun and educational activities for kids in the garden. We'll have bug safaris, scavenger hunts, bean planting, and a chance to get your hands dirty making seed paper and bird feeders. Food and drink available to buy.
The garden is open 9am-3pm, but the event opens at 10am and closes at 2pm. Kids enter FREE, but tickets required for adults (free for Heronswood and tribal members), but no additional fee for Camas event.
