What's in a Name?
Scientists, ugh! You learn a Latin name for one of your favorite plants, then some scientist comes along and changes it! Well this scientist is here to tell you why, whilst also delving into the history of plant nomenclature, tips for pronunciation, and the meaning behind well-known Latin names. Please, no rotten tomatoes!
All in-person classes are limited to 20 attendees to facilitate social distancing. Masks are recommended, but not compulsory. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
