10am-Noon: Autumnal colors and diffused daylight bring a beauty to the garden all its own. Experience Heronswood Garden this autumn with an in-depth tour of the garden led by founder, director and plantsman extraordinaire Dan Hinkley. Learn about the making of Heronswood and the siginificance of its unique and rare collections, along with updates on exciting new developments at this iconic public garden, owned and operated by the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe.
Noon-1pm: Casual lunch in the Garden House featuring gourmet boxed lunches from Kingston’s own Market Fresh Catering. Rare plant: You’ll receive a rare plant, selected by Dan, as a memento of your special day at Heronswood.
$100/person – Your ticket enters you into the day’s raffle. A portion of the ticket is a tax deductible donation ($25).
