Conifers dominate the western Washington landscape and are important components of many of our gardens. Significant as hedges and specimen plants, these trees and shrubs have a fascinating evolutionary history as well. This course will teach you how to identify these important plants, while also demonstrating their utility in the garden landscape. A portion of this class will be held outside; please dress accordingly.
