THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT
A Lecture with Horticultural Maestro and Magician Fergus Garrett
For those who have never visited Great Dixter in SE England or have had the pleasure of listening to Fergus Garrett speak, this event is, in a word, required. For his congregation of admirers and those who have experienced the magic of Dixter, this is an opportunity to reload the enthusiasm and energy he brings to both gardens and gardeners. Much more than masterly plantings amidst centuries-old topiary and 15th century architecture, brought to the fore by the late Christopher Lloyd, Great Dixter under the tutelage of Mr. Garrett has become a laboratory and classroom; discovering, encouraging and preserving the at-risk biodiversity endemic to the British Isles. Whether a horticulturist, entomologist or environmentalist, this lecture will illuminate, educate and excite the senses.
Presented by Bellevue Botanical Garden Society and Heronswood Garden
Lecture Location: Aaron Education Center, Bellevue Botanical Garden
Come early! Dan Hinkley will be selling Windcliff plants before the lecture.
